(see what I did there).

Tekla is currently running their global Building Information Modeling competition, Tekla Global BIM Awards, showcasing 46 projects from around the world. The competition website offers a nice brief look at what the world is building right now: stadiums, bridges, green energy plants, housing projects, and the new Mont Blanc ropeways too.

Check Out the Projects and Vote

Everyone who votes gets entered in a drawing to win a Motion J3600 Tablet PC. The voting period for the competition ends on November 30, 2013 so don’t delay.

It seams every Tom, Dick and Harry are having BIM awards for Christmas. AIA, Tekla one just finished in Sydney. I’m not sure how many architects will participate as giving away IP and opening up to critique all for a bit of street cred could be risky.
No doubt it’s a great way to get exposure for larger companies which makes it difficult for smaller sometimes more talented practices to complete due to resources.
If be interested to see how it goes. Thanks Jared, informative as always.
