Pocket Door Display in ArchiCAD

I can’t tell you how long I’ve been meaning to share this tip. In addition to the pocket door lesson there’s some other valuable tacit knowledge you’ll pick up in this video, I’m sure. You’ll also get a sneak peek at my latest standard pen set. Oh and by the way, if your info box doesn’t have all the options mine does that’s because I turn on everything. If you don’t know how to do that, watch this other video I did.

Three quick notes…

  • This trick applies to all USA Library pocket style doors.
  • If you are not using the USA Library, this video is relevant for other reasons (see point 3). The INT Library pocket doors are different. Their pocket matches the pen color of the door leaf. I can’t decide if I like that better or not. I think I don’t. The USA library provides better control. Except…
  • This trick also controls the pen color of all the masonry add-ons (like the Niche and the Lesene). I do not like that, because it means in the semi-rare scenario of a wall with a niche and pocket door you’ll have graphic issues (which in a residential bathroom might not be that rare of an occurrence).
