Advice from one of my ArchiCAD Heroes

Remember my recent ArchiCAD Heroes post? In it, I mentioned my five favorite posters on the ArchiCAD-Talk Forum. If you haven’t taken the time to start searching out their posts and learning from their experience, that’s okay. In time I hope you will. One of those top five, Djordje Grujic, wrote an article for Architectural Evangelist. In the article he talks about the mind-set and decisions required to make the BIM transition. It’s a great article for people making the leap (or thinking about it). And it’s worth a read for those of us who are already on the other side; revisiting the reasons you jumped into BIM is a great reminder of how far you’ve come, and how much more there is to tackle.

Do yourself a favor and read a great article by an ArchiCAD Hero

    Thanks, Jared 🙂

As I have already received some comments about the scope of the article, pointing out that is does not mention collaboration, let me clarify. The editorial team of Architectural Evangelist was specifically asking for an overview of the BIM implementation issues from a point of a small single discipline practice, mainly architectural, looking to implement “little BIM”.
There are still a lot of people out there who need their hands held for the first step. And, as we all know, the greatest explorations start with the first step.
